Duke University will meet the University of Illinois on November 17 at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Zavier Zens, cousin of Duke player Kon Knueppel, starts his freshman season with Illinois this fall. Kon Knueppel, who had a strong season at Duke last year, may not attend due to an NBA game against the Lakers on the same day. If Zens remains in college after his freshman year, the cousins could meet again when Duke faces Illinois in the 2027-28 season.
