Dunstall Park Greyhound Stadium will celebrate the centenary of greyhound racing in the UK with a special race night on July 24, 2026. The event marks 100 years since the first modern greyhound race at Belle Vue Stadium in Manchester. The evening will feature a six-race card that replicates the original 1926 fixture, alongside entertainment reflective of the era. Dunstall Park, which opened in September 2025, has capacity for 25,000 spectators and aims to honor the sport's history while promoting the welfare of retired racing dogs. Regular racing events are also scheduled every Saturday and Wednesday evening throughout July.
