Durham and Burchett named Section V Athletes of the Week

Savannah Durham and Tyler Burchett were recognized as Section V Athletes of the Week for the period of June 8-14. Durham, a sophomore from Oakfield-Alabama, excelled in the state playoff softball games, allowing one run across two matches and contributing significantly at the plate with three RBI in the semifinals. Burchett, a senior from Fairport, was the top finisher from Section V at the boys golf state championships, tying for seventh with a total score of 145. Both athletes were selected based on polling results that drew thousands of votes from the community, reflecting their performances in crucial championship events.
