Durham batter David Bedingham signs contract extension through next season

Durham batter David Bedingham has committed to the club by signing a contract extension that runs through the end of the next season. The 32-year-old South Africa international has been with Durham since 2020 and has surpassed 5,500 first-class runs during his tenure. Bedingham has recorded 1,029 runs in the County Championship during the current campaign. Durham currently holds the top position in Division Two of the County Championship with three matches remaining in their schedule. Bedingham expressed a desire to assist the squad in securing the Division Two title and competing for a championship in the following year.
