Durham has signed Heart of Midlothian forward Bayley Hutchison on a permanent deal, announced on August 19. The 22-year-old joins Durham after winning the Scottish Women’s Premier League title with Hearts, where she scored 27 goals over two seasons. Hutchison, who was the SWPL's top scorer for the 2023/2024 season with 28 goals, adds versatility to Durham's attacking options. She participated in Scotland's Under-23 international squad and is expected to contribute significantly as Durham prepares for the upcoming Barclays WSL2 season. She is the sixth signing for the Wildcats this summer.
