Juventus confirmed on June 3 that Dusan Vlahovic will leave the club as contract negotiations ended without an agreement. Despite being a key player since his record transfer from Fiorentina, the two sides could not reach terms, largely due to Vlahovic's salary demands reportedly totaling €12 million per season. Juventus' final offer was €6.5 million net annually, prompting Vlahovic to seek opportunities elsewhere. Former teammate Giorgio Chiellini expressed sadness over the outcome, noting that Vlahovic would likely not remain in Italy given his salary requests.
