Dustin Fletcher starts for Florida A&M against Miami after Isaiah Knowles injury

Florida A&M quarterback Dustin Fletcher started the game against the Miami Hurricanes on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Hard Rock Stadium. Fletcher assumed the starting role after Isaiah Knowles was ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a thumb injury sustained in a loss to South Carolina State. The graduate student from Flint, Michigan, previously played at The Citadel and Northern Illinois before joining the Rattlers. He wears jersey No. 9 and leads an offense managed by head coach Quinn Fordham Gray Sr. The matchup against the No. 7-ranked Miami team serves as the Rattlers' second game of the 2026 season. Fletcher takes over the position while the roster maintains other depth options including James Hayes, Dante Howell, and Armond Parker.
