Dwyane Wade and Travis Diener host events to support literacy and Marquette facilities

Dwyane Wade and Travis Diener will host the inaugural "Wade and Diener Home Court Weekend" on July 16-17 to raise funds for literacy and Marquette basketball facilities. The ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit the Tragil Wade-Johnson Summer Reading Program, Visit Milwaukee Foundation, and improvements to Marquette's facilities. Events include a celebrity bartending night called "Court to Cork" and a storytelling dinner titled "Pages and Plates." Wade emphasized the significance of literacy for children from disenfranchised backgrounds, aiming to equip them for future success. This weekend also recalls their time at Marquette, where they contributed to the university's basketball program more than 20 years ago.
