Dylan Crews secures Washington Nationals victory with first career walk-off hit

Washington Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews recorded the first walk-off hit of his career during a 5-4 win on Saturday. The former LSU standout delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the tenth inning to plate the deciding run. Two runners were already on base due to walks after the first two batters of the frame were retired. The victory provided the Nationals a two-game lead in their four-game series. Crews, who was selected second overall in the 2023 MLB Draft, has remained with the major league club since his promotion from Triple-A on May 19. Over his most recent seven games, the outfielder is hitting.286 with five runs batted in and four runs scored.
