Dyson Wicker of Nebraska secured the national title in men's pole vault at the NCAA Outdoor Championships held in Eugene, achieving a new school record by clearing 5.85m (19-2 ¼). Wicker, who had previously tied for seventh at the NCAA West Regional, is only the third Husker in program history to win this event. In addition to Wicker's victory, Nebraska saw Keyshawn Strachan take silver in men's javelin with a throw of 80.65m (264-7) and Cade Moran win bronze in men’s shot put, registering a personal best of 20.21m (66-3 ¾). Nebraska continues competing on Thursday with various events scheduled.
