Eagles convert Nolan Smith’s salary to free up cap space

The Philadelphia Eagles have restructured Nolan Smith's contract, converting $1.24M of his 2026 salary into a signing bonus, resulting in $992k of immediate cap space. Additionally, they converted $12.5M of his 2027 fifth-year option salary into an option bonus, creating $10M of cap space for 2027.
