Eagles defensive players focus on performance amid contract discussions

During Eagles' training camp, cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean remain focused on their performance rather than contract extensions. With Mitchell's last guaranteed season approaching and DeJean under contract for an additional year, both players emphasized their commitment to enhancing their game this season. Their comments followed a significant four-year contract extension for defensive tackle Jordan Carter, making him the highest-paid at his position in NFL history.
