Eagles draft SEC edge rusher Dylan Stewart in 2027 mock draft

Summary

Pro Football Focus released its first 2027 NFL mock draft, placing the Philadelphia Eagles in the top 10. The Eagles are projected to select Dylan Stewart, a standout edge rusher from the South Carolina Gamecocks, following his return from suspension and strong performance against Florida. Stewart has compiled impressive stats during his NCAA career, with a 22.5% pass-rush win rate through three games this season. This selection would align with the Eagles' strategy of bolstering their defensive line amid potential roster changes due to financial constraints. The Eagles have notable investments in their defensive players, including Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter, further indicating their commitment to a strong defensive front.
