Eagles edge rusher Jonathan Greenard out at least two more weeks

Jonathan Greenard, the Eagles' star edge rusher, is not expected to return from his pectoral strain for at least two more weeks. He has been placed on the physically unable to perform list since the start of training camp, following a lifting injury. Despite being a key acquisition with a four-year, $100 million contract extension, Greenard's absence has allowed Jalyx Hunt to emerge as a starter. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio expressed concern over the potential impact on Greenard's conditioning when he comes back. The Eagles are hopeful he will begin practicing before the season opener on September 13.
