Eagles excuse Lane Johnson from practice for second straight day
Summary

Lane Johnson did not participate in Philadelphia Eagles training camp for a second consecutive practice on August 3, 2026. The six-time All-Pro right tackle was excused from Saturday’s session for a non-injury-related reason, and the team has not provided further details. Johnson had previously participated without issues, and his current absence is not linked to a foot injury that sidelined him late last season. In his absence, reserve tackles are receiving more repetitions at practice, though the Eagles will manage Johnson's workload throughout camp to keep him healthy for the regular season.
