The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed wide receiver Erik Ezukanma to their practice squad as of October 7, 2026. This move comes alongside the activation of running back Dameon Pierce from the practice squad and the signing of center James Brockermeyer. Ezukanma, a 2022 fourth-round pick, previously spent time on the Eagles' offseason roster this summer, where he displayed promise during training camp. He logged four receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown in the preseason. Currently, the Eagles are managing injuries to key receiver DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown, who may miss upcoming games. Ezukanma's addition provides further depth to the receiving corps, which had only one other player on the practice squad before this signing.
