The Buffalo Bills enter the 2026 season looking for a return to form from defensive tackle Ed Oliver. After a 2025 campaign marred by multiple injuries, including a torn bicep and a meniscus issue, Oliver is entering his eighth professional season. He was limited to three regular-season games last year but returned to the field for the divisional-round playoff loss. Under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, the 28-year-old is expected to anchor the defensive front in a 3-4 scheme. Oliver has participated in training camp and preseason action as he looks to regain the explosive performance that led to 9.5 sacks two seasons ago. His health and reliability remain the primary focus for the team as they transition to a new defensive system.
