Edd Hargett selected for Southwest Conference Hall of Fame induction

Edd Hargett, the former Texas A&M quarterback, is set to be inducted into the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame on August 4, 2026. Hargett's accomplishments at Texas A&M from 1966 to 1968 include holding 20 school records and leading the Aggies to a Southwest Conference Championship. He recorded impressive achievements like 5,379 passing yards and 40 touchdowns during his collegiate career before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1969. The induction ceremony will take place at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco, Texas, and will recognize Hargett's significant contributions to the program.
