Eddie Hearn remains uncertain about Tom Aspinall fighting in 2026

While Aspinall is training and eager to return to the octagon, manager Eddie Hearn stated that a 2026 comeback depends entirely on medical clearance from commissions. Hearn emphasized that Aspinall must avoid rushing his return to protect his long-term health and eyesight. Gane secured the interim belt by defeating Alex Pereira at UFC Freedom 250 in June and is expected to face Aspinall in a unification bout once the champion is declared fit to compete.
