Edna Karr tops Slidell 48-7 in jamboree, Brown addresses QB rotation

The Edna Karr Cougars defeated Slidell 48-7 in a jamboree held in New Orleans. Both quarterbacks, Forest Johnson and Marlon Jones, showcased their skills with Johnson throwing a 50-yard touchdown pass and Jones adding a 55-yard rushing touchdown. Head coach Brice Brown noted that having both quarterbacks available for the upcoming opener against Lafayette Renaissance is a possibility, as they have been practicing well. Slidell is set to begin its season on September 4th against Holy Cross.
