Edu joins Northampton Town as advisor after Nottingham Forest exit

Summary

Edu has taken on a senior advisory role at League Two club Northampton Town following his recent departure from Nottingham Forest. His appointment comes as the club looks to revitalize after a difficult start to the season, sitting at the bottom of the league. Edu's link to the club is strengthened through his connection with the new ownership group led by Alexandre Pato, which completed a takeover. The former Arsenal sporting director aims to provide strategic guidance rather than daily operational oversight. Northampton is targeting improved performance as they prepare for their next home fixture against Colchester United.
