Edwin Diaz discusses slider issue following blown save for Dodgers

Edwin Diaz addressed his recent blown save against the Diamondbacks, attributing it to a misfired slider that led to a walk-off home run by Ryan Waldschmidt. Diaz expressed confidence in his fastball but acknowledged the importance of his slider as a strikeout pitch. The loss extended the Dodgers' losing streak to seven games, a challenging period for the team that began with the best record in baseball. With the Dodgers set to continue their series against Arizona, attention will be focused on Diaz's ability to regain command of his pitch before the stretch run begins.
