Eight college volleyball teams to compete in new championship event

The AVCA Match Point tournament will debut on April 10-11, 2027, featuring eight of women’s college volleyball’s top teams. The event, announced by Intersport and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), will take place at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. Nebraska, Louisville, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Stanford, and Wisconsin are confirmed participants, with two additional teams to be revealed later. Each team will engage in three matches throughout the two-day competition.
