EK Prosper won a fatal-four-way match on WWE NXT, securing a future title shot at Rey Fenix's AAA Cruiserweight Championship. During the match, Prosper executed a series of strikes and a moonsault off the top rope to claim victory against competitors Tristan Angels, Romeo Moreno, and La Parka. This opportunity will mark Prosper's first attempt at capturing AAA gold. Fenix's reign began in late May and he has recently defended the title against Noisy Boy.
