Eastern Kentucky has been selected as the favorite to win the United Athletic Conference title, receiving 80 points and 10 first-place votes in the preseason poll. The Colonels finished ahead of second-place Central Arkansas, which garnered 70 points and one first-place vote. Emilee Hill was named both the Preseason Player of the Year and Preseason Setter of the Year, while Cassidy Trahan earned the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year honors. The Colonels are set to begin their regular season on Friday against South Florida in Lexington.
