El Hijo Del Vikingo had successful knee surgery after an injury sustained while preparing for an NXT match. The injury occurred just over a week ago during preparations against EK Prosper. Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer reported that Vikingo will be sidelined for six to eight months. This is his second knee surgery in recent years, having previously missed time due to a right knee injury. He posted a photo from his hospital bed confirming the procedure's success.
