Elche targets Fer Niño for striker position ahead of 2026/27 season

Summary

Elche has pinpointed Fer Niño as their primary transfer target to bolster their attacking options for the 2026/27 La Liga campaign. Following the departures of strikers Rafa Mir, André Silva, and Álvaro Rodríguez, the club is in urgent need of a goalscorer. Niño, aged 25, recently performed well with Burgos CF, scoring seven goals in the second tier, and has prior experience in top-flight football with Villarreal and RCD Mallorca.
