Elena Delle Donne, Shakira Austin, GG Banks win WNBA Shooting Stars

Elena Delle Donne, Shakira Austin, and Jezelle "GG" Banks scored 31 points in the final round of the first Kia WNBA Shooting Stars competition on July 24 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. Competing as Team Washington, they defeated Team Seattle, which scored 24 points in the final round. The format featured four teams of three, including a retired player, a current player, and a high school player. Team Washington led the first round with 35 points. The competition was part of the WNBA's 30th season, replacing the Skills Challenge. The All-Star Game follows on July 25 at the United Center.
