Eli Stowers aims for breakout performance in Eagles preseason opener

Summary

Eli Stowers is set to participate in the Philadelphia Eagles' preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens tonight. The second-round pick has not stood out during training camp, finding himself behind Dallas Goedert and Johnny Mundt on the depth chart. Stowers aims to impress coaches with his blocking and receiving skills, crucial for his development as a tight end. A strong showing against the Ravens could help him secure more opportunities in subsequent games and separate himself from other tight end candidates. Coaches will focus on his assignments beyond catching passes.
