Ella Dodge transfers to FSU softball from Tennessee

FSU softball has announced the commitment of Ella Dodge, a former infielder from Tennessee. The rising junior, who hails from Bradenton, Florida, played in 120 games over three seasons with the Lady Vols and is expected to contribute significantly to the Seminoles. Last season, Dodge recorded a.285 batting average, hitting 11 home runs and driving in 46 runs. She becomes FSU's second transfer this offseason, joining Nicole Edmiaston and will have two seasons of eligibility left after redshirting in 2024. Dodge previously played third base and will likely fill the position after Jaysoni Beachum transferred.
