Elly De La Cruz and Hunter Greene begin rehab assignments with Reds

Elly De La Cruz and Hunter Greene are making progress towards returning to the Cincinnati Reds as both players have started rehab assignments. Greene struck out six batters over four innings for the Arizona Complex League Reds, registering a top speed of 101.1 mph. Meanwhile, De La Cruz has been assigned to Triple-A Louisville for his recovery. The Reds, currently 3.0 games behind the final Wild Card spot, are hoping for their return as they face a challenging schedule ahead of the All-Star break.
