The Cleveland Browns are evaluating their quarterback options for the upcoming NFL season. The competition is primarily between Deshaun Watson and second-year player Shedeur Sanders. Former NFL linebacker Emanuel Acho expressed skepticism about Sanders, claiming he does not deserve a fair shot as a fifth-round pick. Sanders had a mixed performance in his first season as a starter, losing four of seven games. He threw for over 300 yards in a loss to the Tennessee Titans. The Browns' offensive line, which ranked last in the league, contributed to his struggles. Head coach Todd Monken aims to develop Sanders, who will also work with newly drafted wideouts Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion.
