Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka sustained an apparent lower-body injury during training camp on August 12 in Florham Park, N.J. Egbuka left the field with a limp and was examined by trainers. Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles reported he was unaware of Egbuka's status following the incident. Egbuka was expected to take on a larger role this season after the departure of Mike Evans. The Buccaneers are set to face the New York Jets in their preseason opener on August 14.
