Emma Raducanu omitted from GB BJK Cup squad as US Open doubts grow

Emma Raducanu has not been selected by Team GB for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in China this September. The decision raises concerns about her readiness for the upcoming US Open, as Raducanu hasn’t competed since mid-June due to a stress fracture in her lower leg. Team captain Anne Keothavong has named Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Mika Stojsavljevic, and Jodie Burrage instead. There is still an option to add a fifth player closer to the tournament date. The BJK Cup Finals will take place from September 22-27 in Shenzhen, and Raducanu's absence marks another setback following her withdrawal from Wimbledon.
