Emmanuel Latte Lath's tenure with Atlanta United is set to end after a challenging period. The former MLS record signing, who joined from Middlesbrough in February 2025, was absent in the recent 2-2 draw against Charlotte FC. Atlanta's technical director, Chris Henderson, indicated that discussions are ongoing regarding Latte Lath's future. The team is reportedly exploring options to sign forwards from the 2026 World Cup, including Darwin Núñez and Breel Embolo. A bid from Burnley has also been submitted for the striker's services.
