England cricket team lifts midnight curfew under new direction
Summary

The England cricket team has removed its midnight curfew, initially reinstated seven months ago due to player behavior concerns. Under new captain Joe Root and incoming Test coach Stephen Fleming, the team aims to rebuild its reputation, which has been marred by incidents involving players. The curfew was originally introduced after disciplinary issues during the Ashes tour, and its removal signifies a shift in management approach towards player autonomy. This change follows the recent resignation of head coach Brendon McCullum amid ongoing scrutiny over player conduct.
