England defeats India 2-1 in ODI series, showing improvement
Summary

England secured a 2-1 victory against India in their recent ODI series, building on a recent T20 series win. Following a disappointing June, where they lost to New Zealand, England has demonstrated resilience and an improving team dynamic. New opening pair Ben Duckett and Jacob Bethell performed well, with Duckett scoring a century. Joe Root has also shown a resurgence with impressive individual performances, averaging 81.5 since his recall. With the World Cup approaching next year, England appears to be gaining momentum as they finalize their squad and strategy.
