England names ODI and T20I squads for Australia 2026 series

England has announced a 16-man squad for both the ODI and T20I series against Australia, scheduled to begin with three ODIs in Perth on November 13. Harry Brook will captain both teams. Jofra Archer and Jacob Bethell return for the ODIs, while Thomas Rew and Eddie Jack receive their first call-ups for the T20Is. Notable absences include Jos Buttler, recovering from hamstring surgery, and Saqib Mahmood, who is out with a knee injury. England aims to test its squad depth and skills in Australian conditions ahead of next year's ODI World Cup and a one-off day/night Test in March 2027.
