Enric Mas extends lead as Marco Brenner claims Spanish Vuelta stage 14

Enric Mas expanded his overall lead at the Spanish Vuelta during Saturday’s 14th stage, held in high temperatures near Granada. Marco Brenner secured his first grand tour victory, finishing the 151.9-kilometer route in 4 hours, 15 minutes, 9 seconds after outlasting his breakaway rivals. On the final climb, Mas dropped four-time race winner Primož Roglič to gain approximately 25 seconds in the general classification. Félix Gall also finished ahead of Roglič, moving into second place in the standings. Mas currently holds a 2-minute, 6-second advantage over Gall, with Roglič trailing the leader by 2 minutes, 10 seconds. The race continues Sunday with a 189.7-kilometer stage from Palma del Río to Córdoba.
