Enzo Shahrvin granted eligibility for Purdue basketball

Purdue confirmed on Thursday that Enzo Shahrvin has been granted one year of eligibility by the NCAA. The ruling comes ahead of Purdue's first exhibition game as Shahrvin has practiced with the team since joining in April. With a need for depth at power forward following Trey Kaufman-Renn's situation, Shahrvin's presence is expected to be significant. He demonstrated defensive skills during practice, and will be competing for minutes on the roster. This decision removes any uncertainty about his status as the season approaches.
