Eric Bieniemy stays involved with Chiefs practices while supporting his wife

Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy continues to assist with team practices from home in Virginia. Bieniemy's wife, Mia, is recovering after being shot, an incident involving their son Elijah, who has been charged. Despite his absence, Bieniemy has been watching practices on a live feed and is providing feedback directly to players and coaches. Chiefs general manager Brett Veach noted that Bieniemy's attention to detail remains significant for the team. Joe Bleymaier is currently serving as offensive coordinator in Bieniemy's absence, and there is no set date for Bieniemy's return to in-person duties.
