Rams legend Eric Dickerson expressed his views on Aaron Donald's potential return to football. While Dickerson would welcome Donald back to the Rams, he believes the team can succeed without him. He emphasized that Donald has already accomplished significant feats, including a Super Bowl win and multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards. Dickerson encouraged Donald to enjoy retirement, stating he has 'nothing to prove.' Although Donald last played in 2023 and remains in peak condition, he has shown reluctance to come back until now, especially after the Rams recently acquired Myles Garrett.
