Eric Young manages L.A. Queens in inaugural WPBL season

Eric Young Sr. is managing the Los Angeles Queens in the Women’s Professional Baseball League, which started its season on August 1, 2026. The Queens currently hold a 6-6 record as they prepare for playoffs beginning on September 9. Young, a former MLB player and coach, brings over 15 years of experience and aims to foster an environment of transparency and trust among players. After initially retiring from professional baseball, he was persuaded to join the WPBL by recommendations from influential figures such as Dave Stewart. Young is focused on helping his team perform to their best potential while embracing their underdog status.
