Erling Haaland displays 'Braut Haaland' on the back of his Norway kit at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This name pays tribute to his parents, with 'Haaland' from his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, and 'Braut' from his mother, Gry Marita Braut. The decision reflects a recent trend in Norwegian football, where both surnames are often recognized. His jersey change comes as he has represented both Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City with just 'Haaland' previously.
