ESPN College GameDay hosts its 500th show at LSU in Baton Rouge

ESPN will broadcast its 500th episode of College GameDay from the Quad at Louisiana State University this Saturday. The program will serve as the kickoff event for the college football season. LSU prepares to host the event as the football program enters its first season under head coach Lane Kiffin. The team is scheduled to face the Clemson Tigers in a primetime matchup. This appearance marks a return for the pregame show to Baton Rouge. Longtime host Lee Corso will not participate in the program following his retirement from the role last year.
