ESPN ranks Cameron Heyward as the 70th player for the 2026 season

ESPN placed Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward at No. 70 in its projected top 100 players list for the 2026 season. The ranking marks a decline from his No. 58 position last year despite Heyward earning Second-Team All-Pro honors during the 2025 season. Since turning 35, the 37-year-old has recorded 11.5 sacks, 19 quarterback hits, and 17 passes defensed. While the team has invested in the defensive line through recent drafts, Heyward remains a starter entering the new season. He faces the additional challenge of adjusting to the defensive system installed by coordinator Patrick Graham. The veteran enters the 2026 campaign as the Steelers attempt to maximize their current Super Bowl window.
