ESPN ranks Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. among NFL top 15

ESPN projected Houston Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. as the 15th best player in the NFL for the upcoming season. Anderson is the fourth-ranked defensive player on the list behind Myles Garrett, Patrick Surtain, and Micah Parsons. This ranking follows an All-Pro season in which Anderson served as a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year. Beyond Anderson, Texans teammates Danielle Hunter, Derek Stingley, Kamari Lassiter, and Nico Collins also appeared in the top 100 projections. The team bolstered its defensive front during the offseason by adding Jadeveon Clowney to join a group that already features Anderson and Hunter. Houston opens its regular season schedule at home against the Buffalo Bills on September 13.
