ESPN's Little League Classic attracts 2 million viewers in Williamsport

The MLB Little League Classic, featuring the Atlanta Braves against the Milwaukee Brewers in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, averaged 2 million viewers on August 23, marking ESPN's most-watched baseball broadcast of the year. This figure surpasses the MLB at Field of Dreams on Netflix, which drew 1.66 million viewers. Viewership for this year's Little League Classic increased by 19% from the 2025 game. However, it still fell short of NBC’s Sunday Night Baseball average of 2.49 million. The game also marked the final assignment for ESPN play-by-play announcer Karl Ravech, who was laid off by the network. Next year, the Little League Classic is scheduled to take place on a Thursday with the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays set to compete.
