This figure surpasses the MLB at Field of Dreams on Netflix, which drew 1.66 million viewers. Viewership for this year's Little League Classic increased by 19% from the 2025 game. However, it still fell short of NBC’s Sunday Night Baseball average of 2.49 million. The game also marked the final assignment for ESPN play-by-play announcer Karl Ravech, who was laid off by the network. Next year, the Little League Classic is scheduled to take place on a Thursday with the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays set to compete.
