Garden City senior pitcher Ethan Armstrong has been named Michigan's Mr. Baseball for 2026 by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association. The announcement came during the 45th annual East-West All-Star Baseball Classic at Comerica Park on June 15, shortly after Armstrong was recognized as Gatorade's Player of the Year. Armstrong concluded his season with a 0.21 ERA, 70 strikeouts, and a batting average of.388 before his team was eliminated in the playoffs. He will continue his baseball career at the University of Michigan, where he is regarded as a top recruit.
