Lincoln City has completed the signing of forward Ethan Wheatley on a season-long loan from Manchester United. Wheatley, a 20-year-old academy product, made his senior debut in April 2024 and has had prior loan spells with Walsall, Northampton Town, and Bradford City. After scoring three goals in 22 League One matches last season, he is now looking forward to contributing to Lincoln's Championship campaign, having faced them previously. The Imps are aiming to improve after losing their first two league matches this season while advancing in the Carabao Cup.
